Cardi B worked hard to make herself one of the top female rappers in the hip-hop world. However, Cardi and GloRilla have become good friends since the Bronx rapper gave her a shoutout, and now they are even exchanging presents.
On Friday, Cardi took to Instagram to share a video of her and GloRilla having a studio session when the Memphis native surprised and left her new bestie speechless with some new jewelry for her 30th birthday, including a Patek Phillipe watch. “So I’m in the studio with GloRilla and she… I don’t even got no words to say,” Cardi said, looking as if she was going to cry.
“She gave me some Van Cleef earrings … but she also gave me a fucking Patek, bro! Like, what the fuck?! Nobody ever does something so beautiful like that but my man.
Now you my woman. If that’s my man, you my woman. Fuck that.”
Cardi wrote in her Instagram caption, “Y’all look what @glorillapimp just gave me !!!!! I love her for fuvkin ever …I wanna cry but imma Gangsta!!!!” The presents come after Cardi and GloRilla’s first collaboration, “Tomorrow 2,” which they released last month. The song was a remix of Glo’s original track, and the music video showed the couple having a crazy time in various parts of New York City.
The two began to appreciate one another after Cardi mentioned GloRilla in an interview with Angie Martinez in July, when she called Glo’s breakout hit “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” the summer’s best song.
