Eva Mendes Is Done With Acting

Eva Mendes’ last role was in her husband’s directorial film “Lost River”. That film was seven and a half years ago and her absence from the big screen has had fans speculation whether the actress has quit acting.

As reported by Page Six, Eva Mendes took to Instagram to say that she “never quit acting. In a video montage that showed several headlines discussing her absence from the film industry, where she explained that she hasn’t quit acting, but she has prioritized her family instead.

“I wanted to be home with my babies. Fortunately my other business ventures allowed me to do that more than acting would,” the 48-year-old actress.

Mendes then went on to say that her last project “Lost River” was a dream project and the roles she was offered after that didn’t live up to her standards.

“Whats the point of this post? To shift that narrative,” she concluded. “I never quit ♥️.”

It seems like Eva Mendes’ fans will have to wait some more to witness the actress on the big screen again since she seems quite content with where she is in life.
