UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier is set to make his WWE debut this Saturday at WWE Extreme Rules. Although he will not be competing in the ring, Cormier will serve as a guest referee for the upcoming fight pit match.

Cormier was announced as the guest referee for the Fight Pit match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle at Extreme Rules. The UFC Legend appeared on RAW this week and asked both men to focus on their match at Extreme Rules.

Although this is the first time that we are getting to witness the 43-year-old on WWE programming, fans have been speculating as to his future with the company. However, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cormier is only booked for one appearance with the company and hasn’t signed any long-term contract.

Although there are no immediate plans for Cormier to set up a storyline feud down the line, things could very well change in a jiffy given that Daniel is an avid WWE fan.
