Fans Blast Kim Kardashian For Not Knowing What Tortellini Is

Kim Kardashian is one of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs today. But unfortunately, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star isn’t really keeping up with Italian cuisine.

On Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians,” the reality star asked a waiter what tortellini is while dining out during Milan Fashion Week. Kardashian continued to ask for “any[thing] that’s not spaghetti” after the waiter described the dish as being “like a ravioli.”

“Maybe, like, a penne or anything else?”

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum confessed that she had decided to be a “flexitarian” after being “of course” given penne. According to Kardashian, this indicates that the Skims mogul is “vegan sometimes and just not other times. So, YOLO.”

Fans of the show expressed their surprise at Kardashian’s knowledge about tortellini on Twitter. “Did Kim really just ask what tortellini is? IN ITALY!?” one Twitter user tweeted, while another user wrote, “Watching Kim K ask what tortellini is actually painful.”

A third criticized Kardashian’s “disrespect” abroad, while a fourth said that Kardashian’s question “blew [their] mind.” “Wealth is wasted on the rich,” another netizen added.

When Kendall Jenner walked for Prada earlier this year, Kardashian, who was on a vacation in Italy with her, proudly observed the show from the sidelines.
