During Tuesday’s Rams vs 49ers NFL game, a fan was knocked down by Bobby Wagner after he ran onto the field. The fan has now filed a police report over the incident at the Santa Clara Polic Department following the game.

As reported by TMZ, two fans jumped the railing during the second quarter of play between the Rams and 49er. Armed with pink smoke bombs, the duo attempted to disrupt the on field action.

While one of the protesters was prevented from entering the playing field, the other protester managed to evade security and, as he was headed towards the Rams’ sideline, was leveled by Bobby Wagner and Takkarist McKinley.

It is being reported that the two individuals performed the stunt to raise awareness for a trial involving the alleged theft of pigs from a farm. After the game, the linebacker said that he tried to help security due to safety concerns.

“You don’t know what that fan got or what they’re doing,” said Bobby Wagner.

Despite the short disruption of play, the game continued as the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams.
