Rajon Rondo is an NBA basketball player. He is an excellent performer in the game, but he currently stands as a free agent. He had a 2020 assault and battery case filed against him, which caused a concern for his public image.

TMZ reports that the plaintiff Toktam Jorshari claims that she has reached a settlement with the NBA star. The plaintiff filed a notice in an L.A. court stating that her assault and battery case should be cancelled.

It remains just a formality for the judge to dismiss the case. The hooper and his girlfriend got into an altercation in July 2020 when the plaintiff complained that Rondo and his girlfriend attacked her as her vehicle was parked close to Rondo’s Rolls Royce.

The video proof confirmed the claims and the case was up for trial. Jorshari’s attorneys had claimed that no man should ever put her hands on a woman. It’s just so true for NBA as it is for any other sport.

Rondo played for the Cavs last season. He is still not with any team, so let’s wait and see if this case’s dismissal has an impact on his signing or if it is a mere coincidence that he is not signed yet.
