Roman Reigns made his way to WWE as part of NXT back in 2010. He eventually joined the main roster alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as part of The Shield.

Before joining WWE, Roman Reigns used to be part of the NFL, but didn’t find any success there. This remains something on his mind even now.

While speaking on Logan Paul‘s Impaulsive podcast, Roman Reigns spoke about his early days in WWE. Reigns admitted he came to WWE as a failed NFL star unlike Roman Reigns.

“I didn’t come in like as a Logan Paul or like you know what I mean. I came in as a ex failed Football Player who had to go to a warehouse and figure it out and they brought us in as a group as the S.H.I.E.L.D early on. Then once I started finding those broad strokes, the basics [of] how to A) Wrestle and B) Wrestle on Television, you know what I mean and all those details that you’re learning that come with that.”

Roman Reigns is also unlikely to drop his titles this year. Reigns’ next opponent will also not be an obvious choice. Roman Reigns is also not expected to wrestle at Extreme Rules, so it remains to be seen who he will end up facing next.
