Pat McAfee didn’t waste any time in becoming one of the best things about Friday Night Smackdown. This is largely thanks to his solid skills as a commentator and his energetic personality. He has recently signed a full-time deal with ESPN as well.

McAfee last competed against Happy Corbin at WWE SummerSlam, winning in the process. As previously reported, Pat McAfee’s show parted ways with SiriusXM as well.

The New York Post reported that he will be joining ESPN’s ‘College Game’ broadcast full-time starting this Saturday in Austin, Texas from the Alabama vs. Texas match. Pat McAfee took to Twitter and commented on his latest deal as well.

It’s an absolute honor 2 have this tweet tweeted about me. GameDay is a show that I’ve been a fan of FOREVER So many moving parts including real cool conversations w/ the fine folks from WWE..all moved quickly Will lead show manana w/ all the deets

Pat McAfee will still be on SmackDown every week on the commentary team alongside Michael Cole. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for the star punter.
