The Weeknd is a sensation whose concerts are consistently sold out. Weeknd’s last performance shocked audiences when he abruptly left the stage. There is an excellent sign for his followers who have been hoping for his return to the road. The Weeknd just revealed that he will resume his tour with Doc’s approval and prepare for a show in Toronto.

The Weeknd is back on the road after a slight setback that disappointed his Los Angeles supporters. The megastar was in the midst of his sold-out tour when he had a health setback.

The Weeknd was just going into his third song at SoFi Stadium when he abruptly ducked off stage. Fans can be seen murmuring in confusion in a video uploaded online, and the artist afterward shared a post that read his apology.

 “My voice went out during the first song and I’m devastated.”

“Felt it go and my heart dropped. My deepest apologies to my fans here. I promise I’ll make it up to you with a new date.”

With such a huge setback in the works, it was expected that The Weeknd would be out of commission for a limited period of time while he recovered. He did, however, declare on September 6 that he is returning to the road, just in time to visit his homeland of Toronto, Canada.

“Doctor says my voice is safe and with rest i’ll be solid and able to bring the show my TORONTO fans are waiting for. LA date is being worked out soon. thank you SO much for all the love and understanding that’s come my way. i love you all so much… XO.”
