Lil Wayne excited fans when he announced that Tha Carter VI is on the way. That was quite a way to cap off his big Young Money reunion concert. Now, it appears that he’s very serious about things.

Fans waited 15 years for Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana to collaborate, and it appears that their wait will be over soon. Weezy and Santana just appeared together in the studio, and a big Carter VI tease was dropped along the way.

Juelz recently said that, “All I’ma say is Wayne is my brother. We are never not working on music outside of each other, as well as together, so for us to do a I Can’t Feel My Face project is definitely not unlikely to happen.” He is a man of his word.

A photo dropped on Friday that showed off a glimpse of this long-awaited collaboration. The Harlem rapper jumped on his Instagram story, and he posted a little snippet from the studio. The caption he picked said it all.

 “CARTER 6 In Process…#ICFMF.”

We’ll have to see how Tha Carter VI is received. Obviously, there is a lot of anticipation, just like with all other Lil Wayne projects. It might live up to the hype, especially if they continue grinding in the studio to put out the perfect body of work.
