Demi Lovato’s love life as to be the talk of tabloids for many years now. She is now giving some advice to women out there now regarding dating.
On Wednesday’s episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. Lovato advised against dating older men amid rumors her song “29” is about her ex-boyfriend, actor Wilmer Valderrama. It doesn’t seem that she is a fan of large age gaps.
“If you’re a young girl, and you think that it’s sexy or fun to date older men, it’s not OK unless you’re of age,”
“I think sometimes the public needs the truth, and that’s why I decided to release … [this] single, I think the message is so important.”
Lovato made headlines earlier this month when she revealed the lyrics for the “29″ single, which appeared to reference the age Valderrama, who is now 42, is about when they met in 2010 when she was 17 at the time. She did not go public with her romance with Valderrama until the month she turned 18.
Lovato and Valderrama were on and off until 2016. The actor is now engaged to model Amanda Pacheco, and they share a daughter, Nakano. Lovato broke her own news that she is dating Jute$, while celebrating her 30th birthday on Sunday.
