Kevin Durant will rejoin the Brooklyn Nets for the upcoming campaign, putting a stop to trade rumors linking the former MVP to the Toronto Raptors. According to ESPN, The 33-year-old superstar has decided to “move forward” with the team and return to Brooklyn. The Nets officially announced the breaking news in a press release.

Breaking: Kevin Durant has reached an agreement with the Nets to stay in Brooklyn, the team announced.

According to The Athletic, Durant reportedly warned the Nets that in order to keep him with the team, they would have to dismiss Nash and Marks. Durant had earlier this summer wanted a move. The discussion on Monday, though, appears to have reduced any tensions, and Durant is now certain to return to Brooklyn for the upcoming campaign.
