Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish previously announced that they were splitting up. Now, it seems like the ex-couple are ending their relationship for good after nearly eight years of marriage. Bosworth filed for the divorce one year after announcing the split.
According to Us Weekly, the Blue Crush star filed for divorce on Friday, July 15th, in the Los Angeles County Courts. The former couple started dating in 2011 and got married in August 2013. Eight years later, the actress shared via Instagram that they are splitting.
Kate informed her followers of the split last year. She posted a photo of her and her 51-year-old screen-writer/director husband kissing with a caption that included a quote from the film Big Sur. The former couple met in the making of the movie.
Kate and Michael do not share any children. Polish, however, has a daughter, Jasper. Kate Bosworth told Flaunt in March 2020 that being a stepmother was “hands-down the greatest unexpected gift of her life.” Jasper was 13 when she met Bosworth and she calls her stepmother “Madre.”
Kate Bosworth is currently in a relationship with Die Hard 4 star Justin Long. It seems like she is very happy in her relationship with Long as she often posts about it on her Instagram. Bosworth and Long might take their relationship to the next level now that her divorce with Michael Polish is imminent.
