On Thursday, July 7th, the Los Angeles Dodgers invited Saweetie to throw out the first pitch before their game against the Chicago Cubs. They might have also set a record for the longest nails ever to grace the famous field.

Saweetie stepped onto the field with gleaming silver Louboutin shoes, four-inch nails covered in diamonds, and plenty of ice wrapped around her wrists.

Before the game, Saweetie said that she was preparing in her living room, so she wouldn’t seem foolish. Saweetie shouldn’t be concerned since she outran 50 Cent and struck out  Dodgers star Mookie Betts with a solid one-hop fastball.

In an interview with Spectrum News 1, Saweetie also stated that her nonprofit Icy Baby Foundation still has a lot of work to do in the Filipino community. “Just helping out people who look like me in lower-income communities,” the rapper said. “We need it, we need to educate and make sure the babies grow up to have a bright future.”
