Outkast’s Big Boi Divorces Sherlita Patton

Outkast is one of the more popular hip hop duos in the industry. Big Boi especially became a huge name over the years. He is now officially divorced as well.

According to TMZ, Big Boi is divorced from Sherlita Patton, bringing an end to their 20 years of marriage. As revealed by court documentation, the court entered the final divorce decree last month, making it a quick dissolution. Big Boi just filed for the divorce in April.

In his filing, Big Boi stated that there was “no reasonable hope of reconciliation” between Sherlita and him, adding they’d already separated and were living apart.

The two agreed to a post-nuptial agreement in 2016, where they divided up their assets and debts. They also agreed to a confidential settlement to tie up any loose ends and to keep details of their finances private.

Both of them agreed that neither would make threats of “injury, maltreating, molesting, harassing, harming, or abusing” in any way shape or form. They almost split in 2013, but reconciled until their divorce this year.
