Kanye West is a man of many words and sometimes he uses them when he doesn’t need to. This led to a hiatus from Instagram, but he returned in order to call out an old sneaker rival.

Ye’s Instagram was silent for a long time after he was suspended for 24 hours following rant on Pete Davidson and anyone else who happened to be in his crosshairs at the time. Now he’s back and Ye has a message for Adidas. He claims that they are ripping off the Yeezy brand’s look.

THIS IS YE driving down the same street Kobe passed on Maybe I feel that Mamba spirit right now To Kasper I’m not standing for this blatant copying no more To all sneaker culture To every ball player rapper or even if you work at the store This is for everyone who wants to express themselves but feel they can’t cause they’ll loose their contract or be called crazy Bravery is not not being afraid Bravery is overcoming your fear for your truth This Ye with the blue paint on my face These shoes represent the disrespect that people in power have to the talent This shoe is a fake Yeezy made by adidas themselves I’m not talking to DC about this either Kasper come talk to me Happy Monday

Adidas has not publicly responded to this very public instance of Kanye West putting them on blast. Only time will tell if they reveal their true inspiration and it’s not Ye, but we will be waiting on the edge of our seats for Kanye West to hit the “send” button on Instagram once again.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
