Jeff Hardy was arrested for DUI and that was terrible timing as he was days away from a big ladder match in AEW. Now Tony Khan’s company is no longer promoting that match, but we have new information about his arrest.

Hardy has a history of DUI arrests and his struggles with drugs and alcohol has been well documented. Fans had hoped that he cleaned up, but this recent turn of events certainly dampens those hopes.

The AEW star was picked up and hit for having a BAC of .294 during his recent arrest. A court date was set up for June 14th after he posted bail on July 13th. However, it appears that Hardy won’t have to worry about that.

According to court records obtained by Thirsty, Jeff Hardy’s appearance in court has been cancelled. 1st Coast Bail Bonds & Surety handled his $3,500 bond at 7:07 PM EST.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
