WWE operates the longest running weekly episodic show in history on a weekly basis, Monday Night RAW. Of course, that can come with a few interesting situations over the years, like when star performers walk off during the show. It can also lead to advertising things that you don’t deliver on.

Lacey Evans was set to make her return to the red brand this week. That did not happen. It was unclear why the Lady Of WWE, who is now a bad girl with a Marine gimmick, missed the show. Now it is a bit more clear as WWE wanted to use her in other ways according to PW Insider.

Although WWE had advertised Lacey Evans’ in-ring return would happen last night on Raw, obviously it did not happen.

We are told Evans wasn’t at the taping as the company sent her instead to the Coca-Cola 600 race on Sunday evening.

Lacey Evans was shown during RAW, but she didn’t actually appear on the broadcast. Perhaps Vince McMahon’s team thought that counted, but some fans were a bit miffed about the whole thing.

We’ll have to see if she shows up again in the future, but this certainly shows that fans cared about not seeing Lacey Evans as advertised.
