Jake Paul remains a huge name in professional boxing and the hype he generates for each of his matches is commendable. Jake Paul also loves trash-talking his opponents before all of his matches and it has usually proved to be a huge success. Even Joe Rogan believes Jake Paul is a better opponent for Mike Tyson than Logan Paul.
On the other hand, Mike Tyson is considered one of the most legendary boxers in the history of the sport. He was indomitable and his immense punching power always helped him overcome any obstacle.
It was previously reported that Mike Tyson was quite close to a deal to fight Jake Paul. Tyson then said on numerous occasions that he has no interest in the match. Interestingly enough, Tyson then decided to change his mind for some reason.
While speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan stated that he believes Jake Paul is a much better opponent for Mike Tyson than Logan Paul.
“The best example is [Mike] Tyson; 55 years old, and they’re still talking about him fighting either Logan or Jake Paul. Like, that is crazy. And I don’t know what would happen. I think Jake would probably be the better fight. The better one is Jake. Jake is the one who knocks people out. Logan’s more of a boxer.
The difference between Floyd and Mike Tyson is Floyd’s a 155 pounds. Mike Tyson’s 220, solid as a rock. Even if he’s 55 [years old], he’s on all the Mexican supplements. He’s on everything. They use electrical muscular stimulation on him.”
Mike Tyson is also absolutely considering a boxing match against Jake Paul in the future. We will have to wait and see whether Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will truly square off against each other or not. Fans would love to see the fight happen for certain.
