Khabib Nurmagomedov Wants To Visit Cain Velasquez In Jail & Shake His Hand

Khabib Nurmagomedov will forever be considered as one of the best UFC fighters to have competed in the MMA world. He ended his MMA career for good back in March 2021 and since then has been enjoying his life in retirement. He also plans on visiting Cain Velasquez in jail.

Cain Velasquez made headlines for all the wrong reasons. He was charged with attempted murder after shooting the wrong person while trying to hunt down a man who allegedly molested a family member.

Unfortunately for Cain Velasquez, he still remains in jail after a Santa Clara County judge rejected his bail once again. He still has a ton of support even if the judge isn’t on his side.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Khabib stated that he feels so bad for the former heavyweight champion. Khabib also made it clear that he really wants to visit him in jail soon.

“Yesterday, I was talking with coach. I tell him any chance or is it possible to go and see him in jail? In Russia, we can go and see anybody like I asked him because I don’t know the law here in the U.S. I really wanna go to see him. After a couple of days, I’m gonna be in San Jose. I wanna go to see him, shake his hand, give him good energy.

Khabib has been friends and gym mates at AKA with Velasquez. Many MMA stars have shown support to Cain Velasquez, including Kamaru Usman, Henry Cejudo and more. If convicted, Velasquez will be in jail for a long time. We’ll keep you updated on this ongoing case.
