Kobe Bryant will forever be remembered as one of the best basketball players to have ever stepped graced the world of professional basketball. It has been two years since the world lost Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna in a tragic helicopter crash and many people still can’t accept his unfortunate passing. A rookie jersey worn by the legend is also expected to fetch a lot of money.

According to TMZ Sports, Kobe Bryant’s No. 8 Los Angeles Lakers jersey worn by the legend at home games during his 1996-97 rookie season is featured in the SCP Auctions’ 2022 Spring Premier set. It is expected to fetch a huge dollar amount.

The auction runs through June 4th and it was added that the jersey is photo-matched from his rookie year. The auction site estimates it to sell for anywhere between $3-5 million, as confirmed by CEO/President David Kohler.

The jersey is gold with purple trim and comprises two patches at the bottom for the Lakers and the Champion size. Kobe Bryant will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends and fans. Anything related to him will certainly be valuable for those who want to purchase them. We’ll have to see if it gets sold for $5 million or not.
