Donda Academy was first announced by Ye in 2021, with the goal of identifying the junction between faith and future innovation, as well as equipping students with an education that will last in an everchanging world. Kanye West is now looking for gospel choir at his Donda Academy.

The Donda Academy announced auditions for its Sunday Service gospel choir earlier this week. The choir, headed by Jason White, was founded by Ye in January of this year. A few months after the Sunday Service debuted, White spoke with Rolling Stone about his work as choir director.

To share the love of Christ throughout the nation, throughout the world, that others would believe in Jesus. We’re a singing collective. We have implemented the World […] The word is coming forth. Our goal is to win souls of Christ.

The gospel choir auditions will take place at Eighty Eighty Studios, 11105 Weddington St., North Hollywood, California, on Saturday, May 21 from 3-7 PM PT Friday and 9 AM – 1 PM Saturday. The auditions are for the 2022-2023 academic year and are accessible to students in grades 2 through 12.

The private school, which is located in Simi Valley, has also made its curriculum available online. Core subjects including reading, arithmetic, and science are taught daily, as well as electives like film, world language, and parkour.

Donda Academy is now accepting applications for the academic year 2022-2023. Financial aid and scholarship opportunities are available at the tuition-based school. We can only imagine that the Donda Academy provides a very unique learning environment.
