Cardi B Slams Mass Shooters For Having An ‘Evil Mentality’

The city of Buffalo was struck by tragedy on May 14th. At a Tops Friendly Markets grocery shop in the New York town, a self-described white supremacist killed ten people. The shooting made headlines around the world. People all across the world reacted to the awful domestic terrorism assault, which appeared to target Black people.

New York rapper and political activist Cardi B also spoke out against the incident. Cardi B reacted to the deadly shooting in Buffalo by tweeting out and it got a ton of attention. With over 16,000 retweets and 90,000 likes, her tweet went absolutely viral as many agreed with the WAP rapper.

Mass shooters are not mentally ill. They have [an] evil mentality.

According to reports, the Buffalo shooting suspect penned a manifesto supporting the Great Replacement conspiracy idea. Far-right Republicans like Tucker Carlson of Fox News argue that immigrants are displacing heritage Americans.

Progressive commentators have cautioned that Great Replacement rhetoric is a racist dog whistle that will lead to violence against African-Americans, Latinos, Asians, Jews, Muslims, and other minority groups. The notion of “great replacement” is spreading across Europe as well. We can only hope that it stops.
