Triple H is one of wrestling’s all-time greats in professional wrestling. The Game announced his retirement from pro wrestling earlier this year, but his presence continues to be felt in the world of sports and entertainment.

The Boston Celtics played game seven of their Eastern Conference semi-final against Milwaukee Buck. The Celtics kicked off the game in style as they played the iconic “Time to Play the Game” theme in the background.

NBA and WWE have worked together on numerous occasions. Some of the biggest names in basketball such as Shaquille O’Neal and LeBron James have been on WWE television in some capacity, if even as a waving fan in the crowd.

Last year, Triple H caught viral pneumonia that caused inflammation in his lungs. It eventually led to him going through a terrible health episode. That was a wake-up call for the former WWE Champion.

The King of Kings said he talked to Vince McMahon about doing something at at WrestleMania 38 pay-per-view event in Dallas, but plans changed due to his cardiac event. We’ll have to see if he ever gets physical again, but it’s not looking great. Either way, that iconic music will forever be associated with Triple H.
