The series has been a surprise hit for NBC. “Young Rock” has now been renewed for at least another season on NBC to make it into season three.

On Thursday, NBC announced that “Young Rock” has been renewed for a third season. The sitcom, which is based on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s life story, depicts how Johnson’s upbringing impacted him. “Young Rock” is presently in its second season.

It delves back into Dwayne Johnson’s life, continuing the storylines from Season 1 while also introducing new chapters we haven’t yet seen. Johnson, Stacey Leilua, Ana Tuisila, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Fasitua Amosa, John Tui, and Matthew Willig feature in “Young Rock.” A modern-day version of Johnson is running for President of the United States in 2032, according to the show.
