Tammy Lynn Sytch was recently arrested for DUI manslaughter after hitting and killing 75-year-old Julian Lasseter. Sytch posted bond and was released from jail over the weekend. Prosecutors are now attempting to put Tammy back behind bars.

The former WWE superstar known as Sunny may have to spend her entire trial in jail. PW Insider has reported that Florida State Attorney R.J. Larizza filed a motion on Monday requesting that Tammy be ordered to pretrial detention. The state contends that Sytch violated her probation in Pennsylvania on several unrelated DUI arrests.

The motion stated that Tammy Lynn Sytch poses a direct threat to the community. Her criminal history and a laundry list of driving offenses were the reason. Due to her proclivity for dangerous behavior, Larizza thinks she should be held in jail up to and through her trial. A hearing to make that determination will be held on Friday, March 13.

“The State submits that there is a substantial probability that the Defendant committed DUI Manslaughter when she killed the victim on Match 25, 2022.  The State also submits that Defendant poses a threat of harm to the community based on criminal history surrounding driving offenses as detailed above.”

Tammy Sytch is scheduled for arraignment on May 31 at the Volusia County Court. She is facing nine charges relating to the killing of Mr. Lasseter. Sytch could spend up to thirty years behind bars if she is found guilty.

It seems as though all the evidence in the case points against Tammy Sytch. Despite this, she is still entitled to her day in court. We will have to wait until Friday to see if she will be allowed out of jail while she awaits trial.
