Charles Oliveira was scheduled to defend the UFC Lightweight title against Justin Gaethje at UFC 274. Unfortunately for Charles, he lost the title before a single punch was thrown. Oliveira recently made big comments about knocking out Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz on the same night.

At UFC 274, Charles Oliveira was able to defeat Justin Gaethje and have a very great weekend. Of course, this victory had a drawback in that it did not come with a title defense. Oliveira’s championship was withdrawn from him after he failed to make weight before the fight.

This turned out to be a huge disappointment, but Oliveira is now the number one lightweight challenger moving into his next fight. When it comes to who Oliveira will face next, it appears that Conor McGregor is on his mind. He has already suggested that McGregor is an option, and in his most recent tweet, he made an intriguing proposal that is sure to turn some heads.

Just for the record, I like to break records and I want to break another one. Fighting twice in same night. I can knock Conor out, and make Dias tap.

“Shut up you bum and get back to that favela and pay your bit,” McGregor eventually said in response to the call. Conor clearly dislikes Oliveira, but he should because, given his recent results, this could be his only crack at the lightweight crown. Check out the tweets below.
