Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley are always having a good time during their studio segments during NBA on TNT broadcasts. Shaq Diesel and The Round Mound of Rebound have no qualms about dragging one another during their pre-game and intermission banter. Sir Charles let Shaq have it last night over his long-running feud with Rudy Gobert.

On a recent episode of his podcast, Shaq said that Gobert could never guard him. O’Neal also said Rudy wasn’t that good of a player. While Rudy has been quiet about the beef, Shaq just won’t let it go.

During last night’s broadcast, Charles Barkley let loose on Shaq over the situation. Charles said Rudy would injure kids in the stands because he would reject Shaq so hard. Charles was relentless.

“He’s gonna hurt kids in the stands blocking your shot!”

Shaq insisted that he would back Gobert down and dunk on him. Charles wasn’t having any of that. Of course, it was all in good fun.

The NBA on TNT should be appointment viewing for any hoops fan. Shaq and Charles Barkley have a fantastic dynamic. The two always oppose each other on-screen, but you can tell the mutual respect between them is huge.
