Eminem is, without a doubt, one of the greatest rappers in the world. His name is synonymous with dominating charts. Slim Shady hasn’t just captivated the masses throughout his career but also Rock & Roll Hall of Fame CEO, Greg Harris.

During an interview with Audacy, Harris discussed the music legends who are getting inducted at the Hall of Fame ceremony this year. One of them was of course Eminem.

“For a lot of years people asked about Hip Hop,” Harris said “He’s [Eminem] the 10th artist to be sort of categorized that way. But (if) you listen to his music, it is as hard hitting and straight ahead as any metal song.”

He added, “it’s a chest punch with a message and with a power and with a rhythm.”

This year Eminem is the only artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility. It’s not surprising because Em’s fanbase extends worldwide. Some wanted to talk trash about Eminem getting in, but his music obviously hits hard enough for a Rock n Roll Hall of Fame induction.

Eminem has remained relevant in the hip-hop scene ever since his rise to the prominence. Getting inducted into the Hall of Fame is another big milestone for him. The 2022 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set to take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 5th.
