Gilbert Gottfried Cracked Some Great Jokes In Final Video Before Getting Rushed To The Hospital

The sudden death of iconic comedian Gilbert Gottfried last month came as a huge shock. Gottfried made a career out of making people laugh and he was still doing that even in the final hours of his death.

Gottfried’s official Twitter account, shared a clip of the comedian where he is seen cracking jokes at taping of what would become one of the final episodes of his podcast, Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast. The video was captioned the following.

“Doing his James Mason impression with guest Brenda Vaccaro. A few hours later he would be rushed to the hospital.”

Gottfried was 67-years-old when he passed away on last month. His family revealed the cause of death in a statement. He died of a heart abnormality called recurrent ventricular tachycardia, an arrhythmia caused by myotonic dystrophy Type 2. It was noted, he was fighting with for a long time.

Gottfried has entertained masses around the world throughout his career; since the 1980s, he was a favorite guest of Howard Stern’s. May his soul rest in peace.
