Drake has become one of the most popular artists on the planet in the last decade. As if he wasn’t already rich enough, the Toronto rapper reportedly signed another multi-million dollar deal.

According to Variety, Drake has entered a multi-faceted deal with Universal Music Group. It was also noted the deal encompasses recordings, publishing, merchandise as well as visual media projects.

The deal is described to be “LeBron-sized.” However, the source close to the outlet did not specify a particular number. That being said the arrangement between the two is believed to be worth $400 million.

Something interesting is that the chief executive of UMG, Lucian Grainge, was name-dropped by Drake in “Having Our Way.” His verse reads, “Billionaires talk to me different when they see my pay stub from Lucian Grainge.” Which basically implies they have done business for a while.

All being said, Drake is on his way to becoming one of the highest-paid rappers in the music industry. If all goes well for him he could be very well in the leagues with the likes of Dr. Dre and Kanye West, financially speaking.
