Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is an upcoming American superhero film based on Marvel Comics’ Doctor Strange. Despite worldwide excitement, the film has reportedly been banned in Saudi Arabia due to having a gay character. The film will be released on Friday, and it is expected to be about as successful as ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ at the box office.

The comic book Twittersphere erupted recently after apparent leaked footage of the new Doctor Strange sequel, which is set to be released this week, surfaced online and spread like wildfire. Both grainy video and photo stills that appear to show John Krasinski as Mister Fantastic.

One fan commented alone with a photo of Jim from The Office as a member of the Fantastic 4 by saying, “All I’m saying is, if John Krasinski ends up playing Mister Fantastic either in Multiverse of Madness or in the upcoming Fantastic 4 movie, I will never stop talking about it.”

Surprisingly, he’s pretty close to what people expected Krasinski to look like in this role months ago. Bunch of fancast mockups of Krasinski as Reed Richards have been made. While it’s unclear whether the new footage is genuine, it certainly appears to be real.

This is probably why Disney is yanking down tons of it right now. That’s always a red flag. It’s already all over Twitter and the cat appears to be out of the bag. Krasinski is dressed in his signature blue costume as he confronts Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda, who is trailed by three heroes.

Not the Fantastic Four per se but other lesser-known Marvel characters who comprise the “Illuminati” include Captain Marvel, Captain Carter, and a guy named Black Bolt. They appear to face off against Wanda and appear to be dominated. Anyway, that’s the latest for ‘Strange,’ and only time will tell if any of these rumored spoilers come true.
