Ben Affleck was smacked into controversy after “Selling Sunset” star, Emma Hernan claimed Ben had hit her up on celebrity dating app, Raya. However, the claims were quickly shut down when the “Gone Girl” actor brazenly denied it. It appears, that was not the end of it as it continues to generate headlines.

On Monday, Hernan explained on E!’s “Daily Pop” that her claim that Ben Affleck hit her up on Raya was blown out of proportion. She added, that her Netflix reality show created a “whole misconception” by making it seem like Affleck, who is engaged to Jennifer Lopez, tried linking up with her on the dating app recently.

Emma also explained that it was not recent but in 2019. She added that it was “Literally the smallest, innocent little thing, and it was taken, blew up, out of proportion. So that was a thing,” She expressed that the idea Affleck had recently reached out is bogus

“I think on the show you didn’t see the time frame, and it just seemed worse, and it was literally the smallest thing.”

The drama started when the real estate agent claimed to co-star Chrishell Stause in “Selling Sunset” Season 5 that Affleck had asked her out on Raya. The dating app is often described as the celebrity version of Tinder, as the dating app requires a membership and a vetting process, which is enticing to big movie stars like Affleck.

Meanwhile, Affleck and Lopez got engaged again earlier this month when the actor presented the “On the Floor” singer with a green diamond said to be worth $10 million. They were previously set to marry in the early 2000s. Stay tuned to Thirsty.
