Tyson Fury has a huge bout coming up. The WBC World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line when Fury squares off with Dillian Whyte at London’s Wembley Stadium this weekend. WWE superstar Drew McIntyre will be waiting for a phone call after Fury wins the fight.

Tyson Fury appeared in WWE back in 2019. He went on to wrestle Braun Strowman at the company’s Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. A build towards a match against Drew McIntyre was planned, but the COVID-19 pandemic nixed those plans.

Drew McIntyre will be watching the fight intently. McIntyre has been pushing hard for a match with Fury when WWE returns to the UK for a huge pay-per-view at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales later this year. In a chat with Sky Sports, Drew said the phone lines are open once the fight is finished.

“Yeah, I cheer him on every single time. We go back and forth with each other and have done it for the past couple of years. Give each other stick whenever he shows up at one of our shows. Somehow he ducks me, he’s the world’s largest ninja…I’m a big fan of his. He’s highly entertaining, he’s such an attraction and that’s why I’m always saying to him, ‘Hey, the door’s always open in WWE. The ball is in your court.’ You come in here as Drew McIntyre’s special guest or we will find a role for you or perhaps myself, himself do something in the ring.

It’s a huge event, no reason to lose. All I’ll say to Tyson is, Don’t screw it up. Don’t screw it up. Get through this fight, win it, and then give us a call. We’ll figure out if it can happen in Cardiff.”

Fans in the UK would go crazy over a fight between Drew McIntyre and Tyson Fury. McIntyre is not shutting up about it until the match happens. First, Tyson will have to win his fight on Saturday.
