Cardi B Sends Heartfelt Message To Victims Of Harassment & Assault

Cardi B has made a name for herself in the music industry. She has acquired numerous accolades and records to her name. When she’s not busy making hits in the studio, the rapper is busy tackling social problems. This time she has spoken up for the victims of sexual assault.

April is the sexual assault awareness month. The rapper shared an important message to all her fans on Instagram on Tuesday. The message includes a lengthy statement in support of the victims of sexual assault.

Cardi initially encouraged her fans to stay safe in the world we live in. She then also spoke on the stigma faced by some victims and called out the “monsters” who perpetrate these crimes. Her thoughtful message had plenty of words to push people to do the right things against such heinous crimes.

“Before April is over, don’t forget it’s sexual assault awareness month, no means no! It’s doesn’t matter what you wear, it doesn’t matter who you are, male or female. For anyone going through this, the shame is not yours to carry… it’s the monsters who do this. #SAAM2022”

The business mogul and songwriter also mentioned the safety of kids. She gave a reminder for parents about the importance of teaching kids how to stay safe. She wants the parents to teach their kids young and early about the horrors of the world and prepare them to defend themselves in the worst situation.

“Also parents we can’t forget our children. There are sick people everywhere, daycare, schools, you name it. Make sure you teach them from an early age, no one is to touch your private parts & never be afraid to tell mommy & daddy when someone makes you uncomfortable. #SAAM2022.”

Cardi encouraged the people to speak up and not bottle up their thoughts and emotions when it comes to this. Speaking up and coming forwards can be the biggest step toward reducing such crimes. She beautifully and rightfully said, “When one person speaks up it helps others see they are not alone…”
