Mike Tyson got in the news for all the wrong reasons. He was captured punching a man in the face repeatedly on a plane and the clip of the beatdown went viral. The fellow passenger was allegedly annoying Tyson and he lost his cool. The man was left with the side of his face bloodied after suffering several blows from the baddest man on the planet.

TMZ Sports has more information on the incident. The San Francisco Police Department has told the media outlet that they have detained two people who are believed to be involved in the whole situation.

The person who was punched by Mike Tyson only gave “minimal details” of the beatdown and didn’t cooperate further with the police investigation, the cops added. The police department also said that they are cognizant of the viral video and have forwarded it to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

More details have emerged about the incident. We have a statement from Mike Tyson’s representatives, who said that the man who got the beatdown was not only annoying Tyson — he also threw a water bottle on the former heavyweight champion.

Tyson’s representatives added in their statement that the passenger was also aggressive towards him during the incident:

“Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat.”

Tyson walked off the plane in Florida after the attack and is set to appear at an expensive cannabis event after the incident. The victim had received medical attention and spoke to the police afterward. It is not known if he has filed a report against Tyson.
