Tekashi 6ix9ine was once one of the most popular acts in the rap scene. The artist was notorious for his extravagant lifestyle, from his pricey jewelry collection to his amazing car collection, he had it all. However recently, Tekashi is allegedly struggling make ends meet. That doesn’t mean he isn’t paying attention to the rest of the rap world.

Just recently, Tekashi 6ix9ine took to social media to criticize Nicki Minaj for threatening to postpone her upcoming album if her fans don’t support her new music video “We Go Up” with Fivio Foreign. The threat, which looks to be a joke, was insane, according to 6ix9ine. Tekashi commented under a post from DJ Akademiks addressing Minaj.

I love Nicki.. but threatening the barbz and fans is crazy. You can’t make someone king that don’t got it.. anyway if it’s that important to you got it. That threat was crazy.

Nicki recently dropped the music video for “We Go Up.” Hours after releasing the video, Nicki took to Twitter to deliver a stern warning to her fans. The “Super Bass” songstress told her fans to play their part and show some love for the video or she’d delay the release of the album altogether.

While Minaj didn’t clarify exactly what she wanted fans to do, it was evident that she was encouraging them to listen to the new single. Although there are little details about Minaj’s new album, she has previously stated that fans will be able to hear it before the summer. Check out the comments from 6ix9ine and Minaj below.
