Nicki Minaj is one of the most recognizable rappers on the face of this planet. The mother of one has seen resounding success for as long as she’s been active in the industry. That being said, she will hold off on dropping new music if she needs to.

Nicki recently dropped the music video for “We Go Up.” The new song features Fivio Foreign. In the music video, the two rap stars shut down the streets of New York for a very stylish takeover.

Hours after releasing the video, Nicki took to Twitter to deliver a stern warning to her fans. The “Super Bass” songstress told her fans to play their part and show some love for the video or she’d delay the release of the album altogether.

If y’all don’t do what needs to be done with the #WeGoUpVideo I will significantly and I DO mean significantly…delay the…the…the…oh what’s the word… oh! the album. That’s right. *sighs* the album *devil wears Prada Meryl Streep voice.*
