Kodak Black is undeniably one of the most controversial rappers in the hip-hop world. Black is also a very outspoken rapper, and he is also known to do good things from time to time. Black also got some good news recently considering his awful legal situation.
The Trump pardoned rapper was ordered by a judge to enter into a treatment program for 90 days last year. He would eventually get back on the road after fulfilling his required 90 days as well.
There is still touring to be done, but probation can cause an issue. Now it seems that weight is lifted. Kodak Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen took to his Instagram and revealed that the rapper has been granted “non-reporting probation.”
“The Judge has granted non reporting probation. He will be able to move to any state he would like to go and is clear to go on tour. Great news. I love to see growth in all my clients and especially my main man.
According to AllHipHop, despite the conditions for his probation being loosened, the idea of his probation being fully terminated was fully rejected by Judge Jose Martinez.
“It is hereby ordered and adjudged that Defendant’s Motion for Early Termination of Supervised Release is denied without prejudice. However, Defendant’s supervised release shall be converted into a non-reporting status. Defendant shall comply with all conditions of non-reporting supervised release, as set forth by U.S. Probation.”
A temporary lift was recently given to Black, which allowed the rapper to make his way to Dubai for a special concert. A portion of the proceeds went to charity as well. Black is certainly happy about his less restrictive life now and that is what matters in the end.
