T.I. hit the stage for another comedy performance last night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Shortly after the performance, videos of the crowd booing the rapper off the stage went viral. T.I. says the clips don’t tell the entire story.

T.I. spoke to Michael Blackson after the performance. He noted that he did initially receive boos, but claims that he turned it around. T.I. said he walked off to a standing ovation after winning the crowd over.

“Man, listen, bro. I had the greatest time. I had the best set of my comic career. I enjoyed myself, bro. I love that sh*t…

What I will say is a motherf*cker went into some sh*t thinking it was going to go a certain way, had to make adjustments, and then turned that sh*t around and got the f*ck out of there. I love that sh*t, bro. I love that sh*t. I’m here for that….

My only question to you… If you get booed and have a standing ovation, does that get cancelled out? I mean, hey, bro. It was a sold out crowd… Therefore, we’ll have an opportunity, you know… I’m sure it will come out eventually. You know, bad news sells way faster than the good news. But, I enjoyed myself. I want some more!”

Video of a positive reaction to T.I.’s stand-up performance has yet to surface. In any case, he understands that sometimes a crowd can turn. T.I. claims he flipped them back into his favor, but we’re still waiting for a video proving this to be true.
