T.I. surprised fans when he informed them that he wanted to take a stab at stand-up comedy. He has a couple of sets under his belt, but things did not turn out too well during Saturday’s show.

April 9th’s April Fools Comedy Jam went down in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center. She show featured comedians Rip Micheals, Nick Cannon, HaHa Davis, Eddie Griffin, B. Simone, Tony Roberts, Bruce Bruce, Michael Blackson, Joe Torry, and Jacob Williams, plus performances by Lil’ Kim, T.I., Moneybagg Yo, and music by DJ Envy. T.I was there for stand-up as well, and his was certainly an interesting set.

The Humor Mill updated fans following T.I’s performance to let the public know that fans were less than impressed during the show. Obviously, his jokes did not land the way he wished at all.

TI just got booed badly at the Barkley Center in Brooklyn… More to come.

Everyone has a bad set from time to time. Even the best comedians bomb, but this was a pretty brutal scene in Brooklyn.

We’ll have to see what’s next for T.I’s career in stand-up comedy. Odds are he will keep at it, but this is certainly not the best start for his new endeavor.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
