Colby Covington Thinks Jon Jones Beats Up Women Because He Doesn’t Win In The UFC

Jon Jones was arrested on domestic violence charges last year in Las Vegas, something many fans did not see coming. However,  UFC President Dana White was not necessarily surprised by the incident. Colby Covington also commented on Jon Jones’ plight recently.

Due to his unfortunate actions, Jon Jones was banned from using the Jackson Wink MMA gym by coach Mike Winkeljohn. Jon Jones then blamed his misdeeds on his past trauma.

Police footage of his arrest in Las Vegas surfaced as well, which showed Jones smashing his head on a cop car during his arrest. Jones previously revealed that his fiancée of 9 years, Jessie Moses, had left him. She left him after his arrest in Las Vegas last year.

While speaking on the Full Send Podcast, Colby Covington said that Jon Jones likes beating up women because Jones does not win in the UFC.

“Oh yeah, I said that because his wife left him so I said that he finally knocked some sense into her because he’s always beating her, you know, he likes to beat women because he’s not winning any active UFC fights.”

Colby Covington might not be the only one happy to see Jon Jones in the rut that he’s in right now. We’ll have to see whether Jon Jones will make his return to the UFC this year or not.
