Britney Spears is no stranger to calling out people on social media. The star has famously feuded with her family and other celebrities on the internet. Recently, she had her ex-Justin Timberlake and mom, Lynne in her crosshairs.

On Monday night, Britney took to Instagram to slam Timberlake and her mom in a scathing new Instagram post. In a since-deleted caption on a video of herself dancing in a new polka-dot dress, she told her followers that she received a ‘calling last night from Jesus’ about those that had betrayed her the past two decades.

The pop star further claimed that the Son of God told her, ‘Dear child … your mom had a serving with her book at the exact time when you needed her most …all for WHAT??? FAME and ATTENTION!!!!’ Britney was referring to her mother’s 2008 memoir Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World.

The controversial book was published a year after Britney’s public breakdown following her split from ex Kevin Federline. She then went on to unleashed her fury on Justin Timberlake. She expounded about his actions back in 2002 when he released his first album Justified and diss track, Cry Me A River.

‘Your ex did the same thing … he served with his first album using your name claiming you did him dirty!!!!

Justin and Britney dated from 1999 until 2002 after meeting at The Mickey Mouse Club. They split abruptly and rumors soon emerged that she’d cheated on him. Justin built his career off the split under the narrative that Spears broke his heart. In the music video for his 2002 hit Cry Me A River, he even used a Britney lookalike. Britney was vilified for their break-up.
