Bob Saget’s sudden death shocked the world.  The iconic comedian was a fan favorite. Fans are expressing their shock and anger over the star being left out of the “In Memoriam” at the Academy Awards.

The 65-year-old was found dead in his hotel room on January 9 due to blunt force trauma to his head. Fans are showing their support for Bob Saget after the actor was left out of the Oscars’ “In Memorium” just two months following his shocking death.

The Oscars In Memoriam segment gives viewers a chance to remember the memorable names in film who died over the past year. A tribute is made in a reel format as a photo slideshow showcases the lost ones. The Full House star was noticeably missing from the reel, angering fans.

While other notable names in the industry such Betty White, Michael K. Williams, and Halyna Hutchins were featured, Bob was snubbed from the video. Fans took to social media to express their frustrations over the omission. “Where the F was Bob Saget in the memoriam?!?!,” one fan tweeted.

“Rioting because Bob Saget wasn’t in the In Memoriam portion of the #Oscars,” one fan pointed out. “No but seriously, why wasn’t Bob Saget in the memoriam?” another added. “Cancel the #oscars for not mentioning Bob Saget in the Memoriam,”  another argued.

The legendary comedian played television father to the Olsen twins on Full House. Bob reprised his role on its Netflix sequel Fuller House. Bob Saget was known for his off-color humor, often shocking for those who only knew him from Full House. In 2020, Saget launched a podcast titled Bob Saget’s Here For You with Studio71.
