J. Cole has been a vocal advocate of Colin Kaepernick’s return to the NFL, and he is eager to see it happen. The world notably watched as Kaepernick’s “Take a Knee” protest cost him his NFL job, and despite his claims that he is in excellent form to return to the game, teams have yet to take him up on his offer.

Kaepernick recently returned to show that he’s ready, and there are reports that he’ll be back on the field soon. While Kaepernick’s fans keep their fingers crossed, J. Cole took to Twitter to explain why he deserves another chance.

Respectfully lil bro, how could you know what he has in him and what he doesn’t? And, respectfully, you’re 100% right about throwing against the wind and to ghost db’s. But always remember, he’s been doing that every day for 5 years, when the entire world was saying he had zero shot of ever playing again.

Have you ever wanted something that bad? love!

Five different teams have inquired about Kaepernick, with Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks being the only team to publicly express genuine interest in the quarterback. The Seahawks recently parted ways with quarterback Russell Wilson, and Drew Lock isn’t a viable replacement. With that in mind, it’s possible that Kaepernick will be given a tryout.

Someone told Cole that Kaepernick is done playing football, but the Dreamville singer disagreed. In a Twitter post on Kaepernick’s comeback, the rapper captioned, “Hello @PeteCarroll @Seahawks @Raiders @Panthers @Buccaneers @TomBrady.” Take a look at the tweets from Cole below.
