Mike Tyson is widely regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. Tyson is known for his insane power and intimidating stature, which has instilled fear in his opponents. Tyson was recently challenged at a comedy show by a man who later pulled out a gun.

TMZ reports that a small comedy show on a rooftop bar in Hollywood turned ugly on Tuesday night. Mike Tyson was there with a few friends. Mike can be seen sitting calmly at his front-row table, taking in the show, but the whole thing was disrupted when a random guy approached Mike and his friends and attempted to chat him up, interrupting a comedian’s set and everyone’s good time.

The man was actually challenging Mike to a fight, implying that he was looking to improve his “status.” Mike, on the other hand, kept a cool demeanour and mostly let the man speak for himself. However, another man eventually intervened and told the man to scram.

That enraged the guy who challenged Mike. He then pulled out a gun from his waistband and cocked it in front of everyone, threatening to shoot the host. Everyone gasped and began ducking beneath the tables. Fortunately, he never fired the gun and put it away. He approached Mike once more and asked him not to call the cops. Mike sat in relative silence once more, listened to the guy out, and then embraced him.

Mike actually hugged the man, at which point he finally left without further incident. People began to trickle out with uneasiness after that, not knowing if the dude was lurking somewhere down below in the streets. After a bit of time, Mike departed too.

Tyson appears to have done his best Paul Newman impression. Ice cold, Iron Mike. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
