Mike Tyson is certainly one of the most legendary boxers in the history of professional boxing. Tyson is known for his insane power and intimidating stature that has sown fear in the hearts of his opponents. Tyson also wants a ton of cash to fight Jake Paul.

Back in 2020, Mike Tyson squared off against Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-round exhibition bout at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on November 28. The fight ended in an unexpected split draw, but it certainly surpassed all expectations.

It was previously reported that Mike Tyson was close to a deal to fight Jake Paul. Tyson then stated multiple times that he has no interest in the match. However, now it seems he might have changed his mind.

While speaking on his “Hotboxin'” podcast, Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce asked Mike Tyson about the rumored fight against Jake Paul. Tyson made it clear he had no idea about the rumor.

“Nobody told me that. Hey, I ain’t got no f***ing money. So, where’s the f***ing contract? I’ve never heard this from nobody, I’ve just heard this from you guys.”

Paul Pierce would then go on to ask Mike Tyson whether he will compete inside the squared circle again, especially against Jake Paul. Tyson revealed that he will fight Jake Paul for $1 billion.

”A billion bucks”

It is likely Mike Tyson was not really serious about the $1 billion as he had made it clear numerous times that he does not want to square off against Jake Paul. Regardless, we’ll have to see whether Jake Paul will respond to what Mike Tyson said or not.
