In the midst of Kanye West and Pete Davidson’s drama, Julia Fox, who briefly dated the Ye, made a comment that Mr. West is harmless and would never hurt anyone. It appears she is backtracking her statement. Ye’s name comes up a lot with her, but she’s not about that talk anymore. Fox had her taste in the mainstream and she’s happier on the indies.

The 44-year-old rapper released a visual for “Eazy” where he kidnaps and beheads Davidson which caused lot of controversy. The lyrical content of the video animation was equally questionable as Kanye rapped, “God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson‘s ass.”

Kanye’s antics raised severe security concerns for Davidson and then came Fox’s aforementioned statement which she has now retreated. After thinking more on the situation Fox had following to say.

“I would like to point out that I had not seen the latest Instagram posts at the time of this video,” adding, “Believe it or not I have a life and a son, and I don’t have google alerts for this man!”

“I thought this question was in reference to the music video.”

Fox is in a complicated situation in the wake of recent events. Previous to this, she has always praised Kanye and defended him at times, but it seems that has all come to an end now.

“Yeah I could just not answer questions but then it would be ‘Julia is mad she salty’ etc and I’m not! It’s a real catch 22 so please stop F’n asking me!”

“I wish I had the answers, but I do not. I would like to remain an Indie Queen. The mainstream life isn’t for me.”

Recently, Kanye was suspended for 24 hours from Instagram after a string of unhinged posts. This was largely due to him using a racial slur on Trevor Noah. Not too mention that Recording Academy pulled Kanye from Grammys due to concerning online behavior.
