Nicki Minaj is one of the world’s most successful female rappers. Nicki’s rise to stardom saw plenty of people put up boundaries along the way. Minaj has seen and heard from every kind of hater there is.

Minaj serves as a role model to a lot of newer artists. Without Nicki Minaj, we may not have Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, or Coi Leray. Nicki even recently collaborated with Coi on the track “Blick Blick.”

After the release, Nicki Minaj and Coi Leray hosted a live stream to talk about what the music industry is like for female artists. Nicki said the new generation hasn’t even seen real hate. Minaj says what is now seen as hate is just growing pains and the growth of social media.

“Can you girls stop talking about hate? Y’all have never experienced hate the way I have experienced. What y’all have experienced is nothing.

Y’all have just experienced some of the growing pains of artistry and of social media. Y’all be thinking y’all have experienced hate and trust me, ya ain’t experienced it yet. A lot of y’all have gotten, not coddled, people have been nice. People have been gentle with y’all.”

Nicki Minaj is hoping to distinguish the difference between real hate and every day trolling. If anybody would know, it’s Nicki. Minaj has faced haters 24/7 since she burst onto the scene.
