Though his true name is Terry Bollea, ‘Hulk Hogan’ is a moniker that many fans associate with professional wrestling, with the 68-year-old wrestler having won six WWE Championships during his career. However, in a recent interview, Hulk has stated that he will never wrestle again.

In an interview with the “Two Man Power Trip” podcast this week, Hulk expressed his wish for a farewell match but said it is difficult due to the injuries he has had over the years. “No, no, no, no, no,” Hogan, answered when asked if he would ever return to the ring. “In the last 10 years, I’ve had 23 surgeries, 10 back surgeries, both hips, both knees — forget it.”

Hulk believes he’d be 100 percent ready to return to the ring if it weren’t for his long history of ailments and he already has an opponent in mind. “If I was healthy, shoot — yeah, man, all day long,” he added.

“The first one I’m trying to pick off would be Roman [Reigns], then I’d like to get to Brock [Lesnar], but good God, I’d be in a wheelchair by the time I get done with that.”

Of course, Hulk did face Lesnar at Smackdown over two decades ago and lost by submission. Despite the defeat, Hogan believes there is no need to seek vengeance for the 2002 result.

“I don’t need no rematch with Brock. I’m good.”

Hulk had a Hall of Fame career from 1977 to 2012, and despite the fact that his final WWE match was in 2006 against Randy Orton, he’s still been at Vince McMahon’s events over the years. It’s a massive letdown for fans if Hulk is truly done in the ring and in wrestling, you can never say never.
